Kimberly Parker
Kimberly Parker is the Housing Victim Advocate at The Alliance in Salida, Colorado and is developing the new housing program for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. She has a Bachelor's degree in Business and Information Systems and uses her entrepreneurial vision to innovate in service of survivors of violence. She has used her business and technological experience in other countries empowering individuals and families with education, medical supplies and micro-financing for sustainable projects. In addition to focusing on housing, she provides adult advocacy, court advocacy, peer counseling and she does safety planning with youth and adults. Kimberly serves on the Housing Policy Advisory Committee advocating for a affordable housing and meets with landlords and community partners across the county to collaborate.
