Kristiana Huitron

Kristiana Huitron, of CCADV, has been working for peace and equality for over a decade. She has worked as a Promotora de Salud in rural Nebraska with migrant and immigrant workers. She developed an organization which trained and educated Promotor@s using a leadership development model, to prevent, confront, and heal Latin@ communities from sexual and domestic violence. Also addressing larger issues of access within the mainstream community, the promotor@s used culturally generated framework and services.
