Sarah J. Berg is the Director at The Phoenix Center at Auraria (PCA), a campus-based interpersonal violence advocacy and prevention office serving the University of Colorado Denver, Metropolitan State University of Denver, and Community College of Denver. Before working at the PCA, Sarah worked at the CU Denver Women’s Resource Center and volunteered on SafeHouse Denver’s crisis line. Sarah earned her Masters of Social Science and Gender Studies at the University of Colorado Denver; her thesis explored the social construction of the “victim” and “survivor” roles for women who have experienced domestic violence. She also holds a B.S in Communication from Boston University.
