A Year in the Life of a Survivor: Navigating complex legal and social needs

Using the lens of a case study, we will examine the myriad of legal and social needs that may arise after victimization, and how to address them in a holistic manner. We will discuss how to navigate legal systems and resources, in an intersectional, victim-centered, and trauma-informed way, and how advocates can be most effective helping survivors access resources and navigate the many systems they encounter.
