Brain Injury in the Criminal Justice System: Screening, Strategies and Model for Engaging Survivors

This will provide a workshop style session for participants to learn about brain injury screening modalities and practice administering a validated tool. We will also discuss strategies for intervention in both the incarcerated and community setting as well as discuss the Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado's model for engaging with survivors in the system and supporting criminal justice professionals.
