I am not who they say I am. Intersectional Advocacy for Survivors criminally charged with acts of domestic violence.
Survivors who have been criminally charged with domestic violence often find themselves marginalized and without access to advocacy services. This workshop will provide participants with practical advocacy and organizational policy tools to assist survivors who also may find themselves as both victims and criminal defendants. Intersectional Advocacy recognizes the complexity of domestic violence relationships, and allows advocates to provide holistic services for our most marginalized survivors.
