Language, Culture and Gender Based Violence: Ensuring Meaningful Access to Limited English Proficient Survivors of Domestic and Sexual Violence
Ensuring meaningful access to limited English proficient (LEP) survivors of domestic and sexual violence is recognizing how gender bias and cultural identity may prevent access to services. This interactive workshop will explore the importance of understanding federal guidelines that enhance access to LEP survivors and developing an language access plan using an intersectional approach.
