Transforming Offenders: Is Change Possible? What Victim Advocates NEED to Know
Assumptions about offenders and their ability to make authentic change permeate our culture. Only through an examination of offender psychology and social beliefs can we hope to change the growing epidemic of Domestic Violence. For victims, understanding the offender's use of violence as a means of connection cannot be understated. This workshop explores the necessary components if offender behavior is to change and how victim advocates play a crucial role in that change.
