Efforts to address systemic racism and oppression in the criminal justice system often overlook the impact of criminal justice reform on victims and survivors of crime. In this session, we will talk about some of the efforts being made in Colorado and the United States to reform the criminal justice system, how the changes impact victims of crime, and discuss ways to better integrate the voice of victims and survivors in these processes.
