Carmen Stevens

Carmen Stevens is a Board of Immigration Appeals accredited representative and Immigrant Advocate coordinating the “Por Ti Misma” program for the San Luis Valley Immigrant Resource Center. She provides outreach and immigration legal assistance to victims and survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence and other crimes. She is the co-chair of the Colorado Coalition against Sexual Assault’s Inclusiveness Team and also serves as the board secretary for Arte Sana, a national Latina-led nonprofit committed to ending sexual violence by promoting capacity building, awareness, healing, and empowerment through bilingual professional training, community education. Carmen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish and Sociology with an emphasis in Social Welfare
