Implementing Youth Advocacy in Prevention Programming
Tu Casa prevention programming has worked towards being more inclusive of youth by incorporating a youth advocate within the organization. Through the implementation of this unique practice, Tu Casa has found new ways to engage and build authentic relationships with youth. This session will explore how Tu Casa has created this youth space within it’s organization, best practices in working with a youth advocate, and the benefits and challenges they have uncovered in the process
