Insight into Domestic Violence Victims with Disabilites
The workshop that DVI will be presenting on will focus on complexity of domestic violence and disability issues and the most effective response for the domestic violence service providers. The workshop will include how perpetrators are motivated to gain control over their victim by measuring their vulnerabilities how people with disabilities are targeted for abuse, exploitation and assaults, and how tactics of abuse differ in comparison with able-bodied population.
