From Safe to Inclusive, Creating Anti-oppressive Spaces
As a social justice organization committed to ending violence against children, youth, and adults, SPAN recognizes that diverse and inclusive environments for clients, staff, and community members is a crucial part of that work. Creating anti-oppressive spaces is a collective and dynamic process of education, action, and reflection. In this workshop, we will share about SPAN’s commitment to anti-oppression work within the organization and beyond, and then guide participants in bringing anti-oppressive frameworks into their work.
