Megan Burch

Megan Burch is an Outreach Advocate for Family Tree’s Domestic Violence Outreach Program. In this role, Megan provides domestic violence consultation for Jefferson County Children, Youth and Families. This involves case consultation and staff training to enhance the Division’s response to families experiencing domestic violence. In addition, Megan provides direct advocacy, support and resources for victims of domestic violence. Prior to her experience at Family Tree, Megan has worked as a domestic violence advocate in shelters and has provided community education on the issue of domestic violence. Megan has both a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Social Work.

Carmen Hubbs

Carmen Hubbs is the Executive Director of the Archuleta County Victim Assistance Program, a dual domestic violence/sexual assault organization serving survivors in Pagosa Springs, CO. Carmen brings more than 20 years of experience to the field, having done extensive work delivering training and coordinating responses between advocates, law enforcement officers, child protection workers and other allied professionals. Carmen earned her B.A. in Psychology with an emphasis in Family Studies and has spent the majority of her career leading social justice efforts in Pagosa Springs. In 2007, Carmen won the prestigious Be Bold Award by the Women’s Foundation of Colorado due to her work to advance the standing of women and girls in our state.
