Domestic Violence Advocates and Attorneys: Forming a Cohesive Team
Through their Lawyers for Victims Program, Project Safeguard advocates regularly work with contract attorneys to provide a myriad of legal services to survivors of domestic violence. Learn about the the differences in the role of an advocate and the role of an attorney, the benefits of advocates and attorneys working together to serve survivors, and the challenges that can arise when forming collaborative partnerships between attorneys and advocates.
