Media Literacy: Advocacy In Action
Media Literacy: Media In Action will provide a comprehensive understanding of the role mass media as well as social media play in perpetuating a culture that victim blames and normalizes sexual assault to the point of it being considered inevitable. This workshop will highlight the importance of linking media literacy to the everyday lived experience of survivors, allies, and even perpetrators.
