Karen Foley

Karen Foley, MSW, CDP is a National Trainer on Domestic Violence, Chemical Dependency and Trauma. She works with the National Center on DV, Trauma and Mental Health providing integrated trainings across the United States as an independent consultant. Ms. Foley has served as a Shelter-Based Advocate, a Chemical Dependency Professional, and a Behavioral Health Specialist for over 20 years. Currently, she works as a manager for Volunteers of America of Western Washington Behavioral Health Program: Care Crisis Response Services. She has served on the Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence Board of Directors, is the founder of Triple Play Connections, a provider network in Washington State, and is a Co-Author of a DHHS/SAMSHA publication, “Recommendations for Suicide Prevention Hotlines on Responding to Intimate Partner Violence” slated for 2016 release.
